The office of Dr. Michael L. Cohen is proud to offer excellence in dental implant therapy for the last 20 years. Our office primarily uses Zimmer dental implants to replace missing teeth and to stabilize partial and complete dentures. Zimmer implants, with the Tapered Screw-Vent system, has raised the standard in implant dentistry with superior features that make the implant process efficient and predictable. With three prosthetic platforms, 3.5mm, 4.5mm and 5.7mm, and a wide selection of restorative components for maximum versatility and optimum esthetics, Zimmer implants provide solutions for any restorative indication. Zimmer offers the additional following advantages:- Friction-fit abutments form a virtual “cold-weld” when assembled with the implant’s internal hex, virtually eliminating micromovement, the leading cause of screw loosening. The internal hex connection provides a low profile for a more natural emergence profile.
- Triple lead threads and a roughened titanium surface increase surface area for increased bone contact and promotes a more rapid osseointegration for increased stabilization and sooner restorative treatment. Tapered design enhances initial stability through osseocompression.
